Pilgramige churche "Birkenstein"
At the beginning of the Breitenstein mountain, close to the picturesque village Fischbachau, you will find the pilgramige church "Birkenstein". It is famous mainly for its idyllic location and its interior design in exuberant rococo.

Schlierseer farmer's theater
Enthusiasts of the bavarian culture should not miss a visit at the Schlierseer farmer's theater. You will be sitting comfortable on long, wooden tables, with a freshly taped beer and bavarian  fingerfood, while actors present their plays in original bavarian dialect.

Manor "Kaltenbrunn"
Picturesque on a hill above Tegernsee you will find Manor Kaltenbrunn, the only and unique manor of the lords "Wittelsbacher". It may be the most beautiful place around the lake Tegernsee and you can enjoy this beauty in the restaurant and a shadowy beergarden with a fabulous view on the lake. 

Museum of local history Schliersee
The museum of local history is definitly woth a visit. The buildings illustrate an absolutly authentic room layout and iterior design of a farmer house in the 14th and 15th century.

Basilica "Martinsmünster Fischbachau"
The basilica Martinsmünster in Fischbachau in the Leitzach valley was built in 1096 and is known as one of the best preserved roman basilica of South-Bavaria. Founded by the Benedictins the basilica was refurbished in the 17th and 18th century with white-blue-gold pargeting of the world famous "Wessobrunner" school.

Farmhouses in Teggernsee
You can enjoy beautiful examples of old farmer houses in the village Tegernsee in the "Rosenstrasse". An absolute centerpiece is the "Saliterhof" in the "Ludwig-Thoma-Strasse" 8 in Rottach - it is supposed to be the most beautiful amongst all farms around the lake.
